Destiny Consulting Vietnam LLC was established in Hanoi in 2018.

Recognising that businesses and/or individuals who are considering establishing strategic partnerships, joint ventures, mergers or acquisitions in the Asian market have a need for expert advice and services, Destiny Consulting Vietnam was born.

Destiny Consulting Vietnam operates in a range of market sectors. In our trading business we specialise in supplying Australian commodities to the global market, such as wheat, coal, livestock, wine, aluminium and infant formula.

Meet the Team

Peter Wigley

Director

Peter has a wealth of experience with more than 20 years in the Australian chemical industry, having founded Pro Chem Industries in 2000.
 
Pro Chem serviced the health care, food manufacturing and hospitality sectors.
 
Peter relocated to Vietnam in 2016.  As the former President of the Australian Vietnamese Business Council (Vietnam) and he has researched the Vietnamese manufacturing sectors to identify opportunities of interest for overseas investors.
 
He has an excellent understanding of the nuances of doing business in Asia, particularly in Vietnam where he started Destiny Consulting in 2018 with the vision of helping investors navigate and capitalise on the challenges and opportunities in the Asian market.

Tim Hyde

Mergers, Joint Ventures, Acquisitions and Capital-raising Consultant

With more than 35 years’ experience in senior executive roles in the Australian finance and hospitality sectors, including an advisory role to the Australian and State Governments on financial issues, Tim is a partner you can trust.

He has spent 11 years in Vietnam and Cambodia managing real estate assets, capital markets and consulting to overseas companies looking to source or place products, to seek investment opportunities or establish a presence in Vietnam.

Tim has an in depth knowledge and understanding of Asian markets and brings his extensive network of contacts to Destiny Consulting Vietnam.

Nguyen Hong Diep

Executive Assistant
to Director

Fluent in English as well as her native Vietnamese and with degrees in International Relations, Social Sciences and Business English, Diep is an integral member of the Destiny Consulting “on the ground” team in Vietnam.

Diep’s wide network of connections reaches the travel industry, government, hospitality services and the Vietnamese media.  She has also worked in project management, operations and sales.

She has professional training in building management, serviced apartment investment and in tourism.

Jamie Brown

Livestock and Wheat Export Consultant

Born and raised in West Australia, Jamie has spent his life in agriculture. From driving a harvester on the family farm as a boy to now exporting livestock, chilled and frozen meat to Asia, specifically Malaysia and Singapore, Jamie is highly experienced as an exporter.

Fully accredited for meat export, Jamie can not only source the highest quality produce, he can also manage all the logistics, including stock management, animal welfare, shipping and government protocols.

He has an in depth knowledge of the Australian wheat industry and supplies premium wheat to the Asian market for noodles, steamed and flat breads.

Ashish Goyal

Commodities Trading Consultant (India/Vietnam)

Hailing from Jaipur, India, Ashish is a senior engineer who has worked in and around Southeast Asia since graduating from university as an electronics engineer. He has been in Vietnam since 2013.

Ashish has an extensive, service-related background, and has occupied a variety of multi-dimensional positions in the engineering space across a range of industries including chemical and energy which has extended his experience naturally into commodities and commodities trading.

People-oriented with a keen interest in business development, Ashish understands the nuances of negotiating in Asian markets to the benefit of Destiny Consulting Vietnam’s clients.
